Peninsula: AOL creates digital city for area

The North Olympic Peninsula has been added to the ranks of America Online’s digital cities.

According to North Olympic Peninsula Visitor and Convention Bureau officials, America Online recently added the Peninsula to it’s network, which allows their customers to access entertainment, commerce and other information about 60 communities nationwide.

Visitor and Convention Bureau officials said the digital city site will be updated regularly with new photos and information provided by the bureau’s virtual pressroom, www.olympicpeninsula.org/vcb/pressroom.

America Online Inc., is a division of AOL Time Warner.
