OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — Port Angeles High School astronomy instructor and NASA Solar System Ambassador John Gallagher will present an evening of moon, planet and stargazing at Hurricane Ridge in the park on Thursday.
Constellations and deep-sky objects like the Ring Nebula, Hercules Star Cluster and Andromeda Galaxy should be visible if skies are clear.
Cloudy skies will cause the program to be canceled.
The Port Angeles High School Astronomy Club will have its powerful telescopes set up for viewing.
