PORT ANGELES — None of the 18 Roosevelt Elementary children, or the driver, in a Port Angeles school bus were hurt when it was hit by another vehicle Tuesday.
Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputy Mel Kempf said a 48-year-old Port Angeles woman drove her Ford Taurus into the back of the bus on Monroe Road that afternoon.
The woman, Jean A. Skerbeck, was cited for driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance.
The car was significantly damaged, and the airbags in the car deployed, but the bus suffered only cosmetic damage, Kempf said.
The students were picked up by another school bus.
