PORT TOWNSEND — The Standing with Standing Rock Thanksgiving Caravan will leave Port Townsend on Monday to deliver donations and supplies to protesters of the Dakota Access Pipeline on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.

Members of the public are invited to a sendoff of the more than 30 people in the group.

It will be at 7:30 a.m. Monday at Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 2333 San Juan Ave. in Port Townsend, said Megan Claflin, spokeswoman.

The caravan will include two buses, a 20-foot kitchen trailer and support vehicles, said Claflin, who plans to stay a week to aid in the protest against the proposed pipeline.
