PORT ANGELES — Drink and draw, a free event for all ages, is planned at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. at the Loom in Studio Bob, upstairs at 118½ E. Front St.
A model will pose for three 20-minute sessions.
Beer, wine and soft drinks are available for purchase. Drawing supplies are available or bring your own.
Drink and Draw meets each month the Thursday before Port Angeles Art Walk the second weekend of the month.
Practices set for aircraft
COUPEVILLE — There will be field carrier landing practice operations for aircraft stationed at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island at Ault Field morning to late morning Tuesday. Operations will continue evening to night Wednesday and Thursday.
Aircraft carrier-based flight training also will occur at the Outlying Field late morning to midafternoon Friday.

Sunrise student
SEQUIM — Sequim High School sophomore Kaylee Dunlap was named Sequim Sunrise Rotary Club’s career technical education Student of the Month.
Dunlap was awarded March 16, and was joined by her mother, Branda DeChant, and grandmother.
Dunlap’s interests include fashion, interior design and medical sciences.
Following graduation, she plans to attend Wenatchee Valley College to pursue a degree in radiology.
