New members inducted into the Port Townsend Sunrise Rotary Club

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Sunrise Rotary Club inducted new members at a July 17 meeting.

The new members were Consuelo and Marshall Brennen, John Pope and Pope’s companion dog, Moby Dick.

According to a press release, Moby Dick is the first canine to be inducted into the club.

The club sponsors “Driving in the Dark” at the Port Townsend Golf Club and the annual “Running of the Balls” prior to the Rhody parade to fund its youth and community projects.

The public is invited to attend the club’s weekly meetings at 7:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Highway 20 Roadhouse, 2152 W. Sims Way.
