Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County has hired Supriya “Priya” Jayadev as its new executive director.
Jayadev will replace JooRi Jun, who resigned in March.
Jayadev has been the executive director of Clallam Mosaic since October of 2013.
She also sits on the Washington Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Board.
Jayadev holds a doctorate in cellular biology from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Volunteer Hospice provides free physical, emotional and spiritual support to terminally ill patients and their families.
Jayadev will assume her new duties on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
