CORVALLIS, Ore. — The U.S. Geological Survey has announced that Sue Phillips is the new director of the Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center.
In addition to leading the Corvallis, Ore.-based center, Phillips will be responsible for research offices in Boise, Idaho; Seattle; and Port Angeles.
Phillips has been the center’s research manager for the past 10 years.
Prior to joining the center, Phillips was station leader at the USGS Southwest Biological Science Center’s Canyonlands Field Station in Moab, Utah.
