The Jefferson County Auditor’s Office as of Monday received 10,136 returned ballots of the 21,298 voters who have received ballots for the all-mail election that ends today.
That’s a 47.59 percent return for the general election, said county Auditor Donna Eldridge.
Eldridge said almost 1,300 ballots were received at her office on Monday, and an equal number was expected to be returned today and Wednesday.
Voters must have their mailed ballots postmarked by today, or deposit their ballots at a county courthouse drop box in Port Townsend by 8 p.m. For more information, call 360-385-9117.
