PORT HADLOCK — Naval Magazine Indian Island is scheduled to conduct a security training exercise from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The exercise is to take place in the harbor outside of the Ammo Pier’s port security barrier, as well as outside of the installation’s front gate near Indian Island County Park.
Installation personnel and residents around Indian Island could hear sirens, see bright lights, and notice an increased presence of harbor security boats on the water, Navy officials said.
The security exercise is routine, officials said in a press release issued Friday.
