PORT HADLOCK — Naval Magazine Indian Island has scheduled security training exercises this week form Monday through Friday.
Training activities will include security boats on the water near the ammunition pier, the use of blank ammunition, loud sirens and bright blue flashing lights.
Personnel participating in the exercise will comply with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Defense by using physical distancing when practicable and by wearing cloth masks, the Navy said.
The Navy conducts these types of security exercises at installations across the world to ensure readiness and verify response procedures. NMII thanks the community for their continued support and understanding.
