SEQUIM — A serenade and a suite for strings, a fugue and a Gershwin tune will come together in the next Music Live with Lunch, a midday interlude open to the public today (Tuesday).
The Port Angeles High School Chamber Orchestra and conductor Ron Jones will step up at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim, at noon and play a 30-minute concert.
Then comes lunch, a hot meal served in the parish hall.
Tickets are $10 for music and meal.
Jones and his orchestra plan to offer Bach’s Fugue in G Minor, the Allegro Grazioso from Chadwick’s Serenade for Strings, George and Ira Gershwin’s “I Got Rhythm” and John Rutter’s Suite for Strings.
They also will toss in a few traditional pieces such as “O Waly Waly.”
