PORT ANGELES —A woman accused of murder has been ordered to undergo another mental evaluation.
Andrea Jenette Freese, 32, is charged with second-degree murder in the July 28, 2007, death of Charles W. “Bill” Boze in Boze’s Port Angeles home.
A trial date of July 7 had been set but will likely be postponed, said public defender John Hayden, who requested Friday that Freese undergo the evaluation at Western State Hospital in Steilacoom.
Freese, who has pleaded not guilty to the charge, returned from a competency evaluation at the same hospital in March.
Clallam County Prosecuting Attorney Deborah Kelly did not object to the request, and Clallam County Superior Court Judge Brooke Taylor approved it.
