NEAH BAY — A mudslide reduced state Highway 112 to one-lane traffic for about five hours Monday morning.
Traffic was curtailed by the slide 5.6 miles southeast of Neah Bay beginning at about 8 a.m. Monday.
The road initially was blocked before a tree was removed from the westbound lane, Claudia Bingham Baker, spokeswoman for the state Department of Transportation, said Monday afternoon.
That allowed one lane of alternating traffic.
The eastbound lane was open by about 1 p.m.
Workers cleared about 80 cubic yards of debris from the road.
