PORT ANGELES — Monday Musicale has announced the winners of its annual music scholarships.

Due to the governor’s stay at home order, the group was unable to meet to listen to the applicants’ auditions, instead each applicant submitted a video of their performance.

The videos were reviewed by an independent panel of judges composed of Mark Johnson, the pianist at Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church; Vicki Helwick, a member of the Peninsula Singers and the Northwest Women’s Chorale; and Paul Creech, a composer and piano tuner.

Ethan Cameron, a senior at Port Angeles High School, sang “Apres un Reve” by Faure and “Non Piu Andrai” by Mozart accompanied by Jolene Dalton Gailey.
