FORKS — A public meeting to discuss future off-road vehicle recreational opportunities in the Calawah watershed of Olympic National Forest will be held Monday.
The meeting will be in the Fir Room at the state Department of Natural Resources office, 411 Tillicum Lane, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
There will be a 30-minute reception before the meeting hosted by Forest Service officials.
Monday’s meeting will include a welcome a presentation on potential off-road routes in the watershed; a question and answer session with the audience; and information on initial analysis and the planning process for the development of off-road recreation.
