■ Tonight at Bar N9NE, 229 W. First St., the open mic starts at 9 p.m.
On Friday, the Allen Baker Band plays reggae, rock and hip-hop starting at 9 p.m. $3 cover.
On Saturday, it’s a variety of music from DJ RoBoTiX at 9 p.m.
■ This Friday at The Lazy Moon Craft Tavern, 130 S. Lincoln St., Bill Tiederman plays ’60s acoustic melodies from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
On Tuesdays, Doug Parent plays his acoustic Americana from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On Wednesdays, Ches Ferguson & Friends perform classic rock with a few originals thrown in from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

■ On Friday at The Metta Room, 132 E. Front St., DJ O.B.1 spins top hits and mash-ups at 9 p.m.
On Saturday, Joy in Mudville is on stage from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. $3 cover.
■ On Saturday at Front Street Alibi, 1605 E. Front St., Johnnie Mustang plays classic rock and blues and some Jimi Hendrix tunes to honor the late singer’s birthday from 10 p.m. to midnight.
■ On Saturday at the Conrad Dyar Memorial Fountain, corner of Laurel and First streets, Charlie Ferris is the master of ceremonies and entertains with seasonal tunes for the downtown association’s Christmas tree ceremony from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
■ On Tuesdays at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., Wally’s Boys play ballroom dance favorites from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. $5 cover; first-timers free.
Sequim
■ Today at Wind Rose Cellars, 143 W. Washington St., Cort Armstrong and friends help you recover from your turkey drowsiness from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with some original songs.
On Friday, Sam Amazyan is up with his classical gypsy guitar from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
On Saturday, the Tony Petrillo Trio comes from Port Townsend with a jazzy evening of band music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
On Wednesday, Bill Volmut showcases original tunes and acoustic folk rock from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
■ On Friday at The Oasis Bar and Grill, 301 E. Washington St., Gil Yslas plays mellow acoustic tunes from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, the Blue Hole Quintet plays danceable tunes from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
■ On Friday at Stymie’s Bar and Grill at Cedars at Dungeness, 1965 Woodcock Road, Mick and Barry play acoustic classic rock and country from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

On Friday, Jack Dwyer, a Portland, Ore.-based singer-songwriter, plays bluegrass and more at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, it’s Dr. Light, Dumpster Baby, Puget Shore and Cradle Cap at 9 p.m. $5 cover.
On Tuesdays, join in the weekly jazz night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This week, Pies on the Run plays the free event.
■ Every Thursday, The Boiler Room, 711 Water St., hosts an all-ages open mic at 8 p.m., with sign-ups at 7 p.m.
■ On Friday at the Uptown Pub, 1016 Lawrence St., Stephen Brooks helps clear away the indulgence fog with folk garage rock starting at 9 p.m.
On Saturday, George Rezendes and the Toolshed Trio, with special guests Lois Barnett and Piper Dunlap, play American roots and rock with a special Jerry Garcia tribute from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
■ On Friday at the Public House Grille, 1038 Water St., Jack&Joe play a blend of cowboy music, some folk, blues and “blue-billy swing” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

■ On Tuesday in Peninsula College’s Maier Performance Hall, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles, the college Jazz Ensemble performs a free show from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with vocalists and some surprise holiday tunes.
■ On Wednesday at the Highway 20 Road House, 2152 Sims Way, Port Townsend, Ukuleles Unite! offers up holiday music with instruments available to use starting at 5:30 p.m.
