Lake Pleasant Community Beach County Park reopens

BEAVER — Lake Pleasant Community Beach County Park has reopened for public use after the piling replacement project and repairs to the floating docks were completed.

Quigg Brothers, Inc. of Aberdeen completed the project four days ahead of schedule and the park reopened Thursday, according to a press release from the Clallam County Parks, Fair and Facilities Department.

The dock had been closed since it was damaged by a storm in November 2021.

The project, which started July 15, replaced all of the wood pilings with galvanized steel pilings and refloated and attached the floating dock sections.

The repairs were funded by the state Recreation and Conservation Office.

The parks department said some final details remain to be completed, but they will not significantly affect public access to the park.

For more information, call the parks department at 360-417-2291 or email web_parks@clallamcountywa.gov.
