The Crescent Water Association was working Tuesday to fix a break in a transmission line that affected water service to Joyce-area customers for the second time since Friday.
Crescent Water had restored service that was affected when heavy snows knocked trees into power lines at the East Beach Road plant Friday morning, but workers discovered a line break this week that took down water again, association Manager John Palzer said. He did not know if the break was storm-related.
Customers at higher elevations may not have as much pressure or water due to the problem, he said.
