The county commissioner duel between Pat Rodgers and Wendi Wrinkle was too close to call Tuesday night.
Wrinkle, a Democrat from Shine had a slight margin over Rodgers, a Republican from Brinnon, in returns tallied near midnight Tuesday.
“It’s way too early to call and very close,” said Rodgers, who spent evening monitoring the election with around 35 supporters at his campaign office, the former Sandy’s Chevron gas station in Quilcene.
Wrinkle said she was “very happy” — and added that she thought the vote count seemed to be moving in her favor.
