SHINE — A Chimacum School District volunteer and community activist has entered the race for the District No. 3 county commissioner seat in November.
Wendi Wrinkle, co-founder of the Shine Community Action Council which has sought groundwater protection, announced her candidacy Friday.
Wrinkle, 45, joins candidates Pat Rodgers, Stacey Thompson and Ivan Hjelvik in the race for the District No. 3 seat, being vacated by Commissioner Richard Wojt, D-Port Townsend.
Wojt previously announced he will retire after he completes his third term in office.
