PORT LUDLOW — The Jefferson County Public Utility District plans brief outages in the Port Ludlow area from July 16-18 as crews work to balance the electrical load distribution.
Outages will range from 5 minutes to 15 minutes in an area north of Port Ludow to around Shine south of state Highway 104.
Not all customers will be affected.
Electrical conductors will be moved from one electrical phase to another in the work to improve the system’s reliability and efficiency, the PUD said.
The public utility, which serves East Jefferson County, will notify individuals prior to outages with door hangers.
