Jefferson: Jurors to be seated in murder trial

Eighty Jefferson County residents who received summons last week will file into the Jefferson County Courthouse on Monday as jury selection begins in the murder trial of Robert Stoner.

In the first homicide case in the county since 1998, 12 jurors will be chosen to decide the guilt or innocence of Stoner, 54, of Quilcene.

Stoner is charged with first-degree murder in the October 2000 shooting death of Douglas McFarland of Quilcene.
