PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson Healthcare board of commissioners will conduct a facilitated governance workshop during a special meeting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
The board will meet at the Resort at Port Ludlow, 1 Heron Road, Port Ludlow.
Items for discussion include confirming objectives, reviewing the agenda and agreeing on group guidelines, performing a board self-assessment and reviewing interview results, having a national and regional industry overview, leveraging trust to foster dialogue around thorny issues, discussing the role of each commissioner as community ambassadors, discuss the role of the board in legislative advocacy and fundraising, board book review and action planning for 2023; and the board’s next steps.
