Lots of sunshine — and a sprinkling of rain– produced a bountiful inaugural Jefferson County Farm Tour on Sunday for growers and visitors alike.
“We sold out all our jams and jellies by 2 p.m.,” said Andy Driscoll of Plum Wild Farm.
More than 300 people visited the farm, located between Chimacum and Quilcene, as part of Sunday’s tour of 11 rural properties in the county.
They included a busload from the Port Angeles Senior Center and families with small children.
“Kaia loves animals,” said Roberta Stefurak said of her 11-month-old daughter, who was riding in a back pack, “and we live on a farm.
“We might be growing next year.”
