Jefferson County to host series of community conversations

PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson County will conduct a series of Community Conversations at venues countywide from Tuesday through Oct. 22.

Each meeting will include the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners, other elected officials and department directors and close with a Q&A session.

The series will kick off from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Port Ludlow Beach Club, 121 Marina View Drive, Port Ludlow.

Other meetings are scheduled at:

• Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Ave., Port Hadlock, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 24.

• Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road, Sequim, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 12.

• Point Hudson Pavilion Building, 355 Hudson St., Port Townsend, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 19.

• Quilcene Community Center, 294952 U.S. Highway 101, Quilcene, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 9.

• Brinnon Community Center, 306144 U.S. Highway 101, Brinnon, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 23.

• Hoh Tribal Chambers, 2261 Lower Hoh Road, Forks, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 22.
