More than 300 people were served at the Jefferson County community Christmas dinner on Wednesday, organizer Linda Haskell said Thursday.
An additional 49 meals were delivered to the homes of shut-ins in the area, Haskell said.
“It was the best event ever,”‘ she said.
The event at Jefferson County Fairgrounds was the work of about 40 volunteers and was sponsored by Olympic Community Action Programs.
Each year, the group prepares free community Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
