PORT TOWNSEND — A plane flies over the Jefferson County International Airport’s 3,000-foot runway outside Port Townsend on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020.
The Port of Port Townsend plans to close the runway from 7:30 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. Oct. 23 so it can be resurfaced.
That work, intended to correct deficiencies in the pavement, was originally planned for late September but was delayed due to rainy weather.
