PORT ANGELES — Students from the sister city of Mutsu City, Japan, are visiting Port Angeles.
The delegation of 40 students and their adult chaperones arrived at City Hall late Thursday afternoon.
The Mutsu City guests stay with Port Angeles host families during their visit.
The Japanese students attended class with high school student hosts and will visit their pen pals at Jefferson Elementary School today.
During their visit, they also are touring other areas on the Olympic Peninsula and visiting Victoria.
The exchange is part of the Port Angeles School District and Peninsula International Relations Association exchange program.
