The National Weather Service on Wednesday night said snow is probable across the North Olympic Peninsula — and the rest of Western Washington — through Friday night.
An arctic air system has enveloped the region and an upper disturbance is moving through today that will increase the chance of snow to 2 to 4 inches in parts of the Peninsula by Friday, the Weather Service office in Seattle forecast.
Snow was reported falling in Sequim and Joyce on Wednesday night.
Today’s high temperatures are expected to rise only to the mid- to upper 30s. The weather will turn rainy on the weekend with daytime temperatures approaching 50.
