IRONDALE — Like characters out of a Dr. Seuss book, Ernie and Lerose Coulter like things a little topsy-turvy.
But instead of eating their bread butter side down, the Coulters turn their Christmas tree upside down.
“It’s real neat,” said Lerose. “You have to see it.”
That’s easy to do.
The tree, suspended in the front corner of the Coulter’s living room, is visible Irondale Road in front of their house, just across from the Evangelical Church.
The couple got the idea 10 years ago while visiting their daughter, Lois Olson, in Longview.
“We saw it and thought it was a good idea and would save space,” Lerose said.
