Individual education plans topic of meeting in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — Tim Steinbeck will present a seminar on individual education plans from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The free seminar will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 Lopez Ave.

Steinbeck is a retired director of special services and a parent of a child with special needs.

Topics he will cover include the purpose of an IEP meeting, how to prepare for the meeting, obstacles at meetings and what to do after the IEP meeting.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions.
