The commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Allison Berry at 9:45 a.m. and will consider three Recreation and Conservation grant applications from Jefferson Land Trust.

Items on the consent agenda include an agreement for collective bargaining for administrative staff in the sheriff’s office and the appointment of Sarah Melancon as risk coordinator for the county Risk Management Committee.

Clallam County

The three Clallam County commissioners will consider $545,175 in supplemental appropriations in their weekly work session Monday/weekly business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

• A request from the YMCA for funding to help build an early learning facility.

• Requests from the Peninsula Housing Authority for $300,000 funding to cover infrastructure costs associated with the Eklunds Heights project and for $225,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funding to cover a shortfall in the mutual self-help building program.

• An update on the Bullman Beach Water System from Kevin LoPiccolo and David Hanna.

• An application to the Department of Homeland Security for a 2023 Marine Law Enforcement Patrol Vessel Replacement Grant of $141,080.

• A discussion concerning decreasing jail revenue from the Department of Corrections.

• A resolution to close Cooper Ranch Road for up to 90 days to replace a fish passage barrier in Kugel Creek.

• A call for a public hearing on July 5 or July 12 regarding a proposed forestry conversion ordinance.

• A proposed settlement with Scarsella Brothers, Inc. for mitigation of inadvertent mowing of wetland vegetation during construction on the Lower Dungeness Floodplain Restoration project.

• Personal services agreement for lodging tax funds with Port Angeles Baseball for $60,000 for the Volunteer Field turf project, with the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce for $60,000 for the Winter Ice Village, with Lincoln Park BMX for $100,000 for the pumptrack large scale infrastructure project.

• A public hearing at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 28 regarding $602,875 in debatable emergencies.
