SEQUIM — No one was hurt when a fire broke out shortly after noon today at a home in North Sequim.
Clallam County Fire District No. 3 firefighters beat down the fast-moving blaze in less than an hour, said Patrick Young, District 3 spokesman.
The smoke-filled fire ignited while the homeowner was away, according to Young.
Fire investigators were at the scene, trying to determine the cause of the blaze that gutted part of the older home.
Additional information will be reported as the story develops.
