SHINE — Drivers are encountering delays on the Hood Canal Bridge through Friday and again from Monday through June 12.
Multiple drawspan openings are planned between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day for an annual inspection of the bridge, the state Department of Transportation said.
Drivers can expect delays ranging from 15 minutes to 60 minutes for each closure.
The inspection includes an overall assessment of the bridge’s mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
