Hood Canal Bridge closure scheduled for tonight canceled

SHINE — Closures set for the Hood Canal Bridge on Sunday tonight and into Monday morning have been canceled.

State Department of Transportation crews were able to complete this phase of work in an ongoing maintenance project ahead of schedule, leading to the cancellation of intermittent closures of the bridge from 10 p.m. Sunday until 4 a.m. Monday.

DOT will announce further intermittent night bridge closures as they are scheduled, according to a press release issued Sunday.
