Yachts, schooners, kayaks, dinghies — they’ll all be on display, along with pulling boats and powered craft for the 25th Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend this weekend.
More than 200 new and restored vessels of all shapes and sizes — in the water and out — offer maritime madness for wooden boat enthusiasts and traditional boaters alike.
Food and music , races, storytellers, workshops, classes, demonstrations, films and much more are scattered throughout the Point Hudson grounds on the eastern edge of the city, sponsored by the Wooden Boat Foundation.
Friday/Saturday editions of the Peninsula Daily News have stories and photos on the Wooden Boat Festival.
