Happy birthday, Nancy Reagan!

SHE DOESN’T LIVE on the North Olympic Peninsula, but she’s more familar to many of us (at least those of us born before 1970!) than any mayor or other local celebrity.

Today is her birthday — she is 91.

This photo shows former first lady Nancy Reagan the day before her birthday at Thursday’s opening ceremony of “D23: Treasures of the Walt Disney Archive.” At 500 artifacts, it’s the largest Disney exhibit ever and it’s now at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, Calif.

President Ronald Wilson Reagan was in office from Jan. 20, 1981, to Jan. 20, 1989. He died in Los Angeles on June 5, 2004 (age 93).
