Gubernatorial candidate Christine Gregoire to visit North Olympic Peninsula

State Attorney General Christine Gregoire, a Democratic candidate for governor, will stop in Jefferson and Clallam counties today.

She will promote her “Safety Net”‘ campaign to raise awareness among students about Internet use beginning at 10 a.m. at Blue Heron Middle School, 3939 San Juan Ave., Port Townsend.

Then she will speak to the Clallam County Economic Development Council from 1:25 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. at John Wayne Marina, 2577 W. Sequim Bay Road, Sequim.

That will be followed at 2:35 p.m. with a tour of the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center at the Lincoln Center, 904 W. Ninth St., Port Angeles. Media sessions will follow.
