The Clallam County treasurer, city of Port Angeles finance director and the chief accountant in the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office are among city and county officers on the North Olympic Peninsula who have received the Professional Finance Officer award for 2010 from the Washington Finance Officers Association.

The annual award recognizes achievements of professional service and ongoing continuing education and training on the part of each individual and is not automatically awarded, the association said in a prepared statement.
