BLYN — Contractor crews will place four 100-foot bridge girders over a creek that passes under U.S. Highway 101 east of Blyn on Thursday night and Friday morning.
Work will begin as early as 8 p.m. Thursday and is expected to be completed by 6 a.m. Friday.
Drivers can expect traffic interruptions of up to 15 minutes as each girder arrives, is picked up by cranes and placed into position, according to a press release from the state Department of Transportation.
The new bridge is scheduled to open this summer, WSDOT said.
