Geology Rocks! at NOLS branches in March

Romaine is the executive director of the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals in Hillsboro, Ore., and the author of “Geology Lab for Kids” and “Modern Rockhounding & Prospecting Handbook.”

The lecture will be presented at 6 p.m. Friday, March 13 at the Forks Library, 171 S. Forks Ave.

Romaine will present the lecture again at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.

Romaine will discuss the rocks, gems and geology of Clallam County and the North Olympic Peninsula.
