Here’s the week’s schedule for remaining free outdoor summer concerts across the North Olympic Peninsula:
■ FORT FLAGLER SUMMER CONCERTS (last in this summer’s series) — Today at 3 p.m., Navy Band Northwest (jazz, marches, patriotic favorites, popular music) at Battery Bankhead (follow signs) in Fort Flagler State Park.
Bring a chair or blanket. Sponsored by the Friends of Fort Flagler. Food and beverages will be available for sale.
Fort Flagler is at 10541 Flagler Road on Marrowstone Island.
No Discovery Pass is needed.
■ PORT ANGELES CONCERT ON THE PIER (last in this summer’s series) — Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Ian McFeron (popular rock).
Held on City Pier and sponsored by the Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce and local businesses, this every-Wednesday music series began June 18.
Dancing is encouraged. City Pier is a dog-friendly, no-smoking, no-skateboards, no-alcohol venue.
Some chairs are available for the disabled and early arrivals. There are two snack and beverage vendors.
Concert will be moved to the roofed Gateway transit center, Lincoln and Front streets, if there’s rain.
“Bubble Man” Greg Bondy provides entertainment for kids at Concert on the Pier with chalk for pavement drawing and a bubble-making machine.
