Forks: Festival of Trees begins next week

FORKS — The eighth annual Festival of Trees in Forks begins next week.

The public can preview the decorated Christmas trees and wreaths at Bank of America, 481 S. Forks Ave., during regular banking hours Dec. 5 and Dec. 6.

The festival and auction will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, at Bank of America.

Doors open at 1 p.m.

The program includes a silent auction beginning at 1 p.m., music by the Congregational Church Bell Ringers at 1 p.m., music by the Forks Community Orchestra at 1:30 p.m. and a live auction of trees and wreaths at 2 p.m.

Baked goodies will also be available.

The event is sponsored by the Soroptimist International of the Olympic Rain Forest.

Proceeds benefit Soroptimist projects in the community.
