Finishing touches

Liam Crist-Dwyer, boat shop assistant at the NW Maritime Center, works on sanding down a boat cleat to replace a broken one.

Crist-Dwyer and other workers at the boat shop are currently in the process of their winter maintenance period, repairing the center’s various vessels and getting them ready for the spring and summer boating seasons.

Students of the Maritime Center also help with the repairs and painting.
