Meetings across the North Olympic Peninsula

Timber reports, short-term rentals and discussion about the dissolution of the Fort Worden Public Development Authority will be before Peninsula boards and commissions next week.

Clallam County Commissioners

The three Clallam County commissioners will review the fourth quarter timber income report with the state Department of Natural Resources during a special joint meeting at 1 p.m. Monday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

• An amended agreement with the state Department of Ecology returning $68,558 due to reduced levels of Chain Gang activities.

• An agreement with the U.S. Marshals Service for compensation and housing of federal prisoners.

• An agreement with Washington State Patrol for shared access to radio towers and radio networks between the State Patrol and the Sheriff’s Office.

• An amended agreement with the state Department of Commerce for the Joyce-area broadband project.

• Resolution authorizing expenditures from the Clallam County Heritage Advisory Board grant fund of $2,000 to the North Olympic History Center and $8,795 to the the Clallam County Genealogical Society.
