Code enforcement updates, a carnival request and quarterly capital improvement projects will be before Peninsula boards and commissions this week.

Clallam County Commissioners

The three Clallam County commissioners will hear a quarterly update regarding code enforcement for January through March during their weekly work session Monday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

• A discussion with the state Department of Transportation regarding construction projects on U.S. Highway 101.

• Renewal of a five-year agreement with the city of Port Angeles to share an emergency notification system.

• A request to apply for a $9,580,029 Defense Community Infrastructure Program grant for the joint public safety facility.

• Renewal of a five-year lease agreement with the U.S. Coast Guard for property on the Slip Point Lighthouse at Clallam Bay.

• A draft interlocal agreement with the cities of Forks, Port Angeles and Sequim, clarifying roles related to a state Department of Commerce climate planning grant to assist with updating the county multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan.

• A call for a public hearing at 10:30 a.m. June 25 regarding a proposed ordinance regulating agriculture accessory uses.

• A request to waive the bidding process for the Olympic Adventure Trail Whiskey Creek bridge replacement project.

• An agreement with Signature Roof Services, LLC, for $85,758 to replace the roof of the Art Barn at the county fairgrounds.

• An amended agreement with Norpoint Services for continued security services at the county courthouse.
