Clallam commission
Clallam County commissioners will discuss at 9 a.m. Monday a letter of support for a state Recreation and Conservation Office grant to acquire property adjacent to Miller Peninsula State Park.
The grant would fund expansion of the park in east Clallam County and potentially provide beach access, according to the letter.
The work session will be in Room (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse. No in-person attendance will be allowed until Gov. Jay Inslee’s “stay home, stay safe” proclamation is lifted, according to the agenda.

• A $433,368 supplemental appropriation for emergency housing during the COVID-19 outbreak.
•A call for April 28 hearing for consideration of debatable budget emergencies.
Port of Port Angeles
Port of Port Angeles commissioners will discuss rent relief when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The Sequim School Board will hear details of reducing the workforce during the next school year at 6 p.m. Monday.

The proposed plan includes letting go 15 paraeducators. “Our goal is to retain as many teachers as possible,” the plan says. The board will consider adopting the plan on April 27.

The Sequim City Council meeting originally set for Monday has been canceled because of technical difficulties.
Public Utility District
The Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners’ meeting for Monday has been canceled.
Jefferson commission
The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Tom Locke, county public health officer, when they meet in a virtual session at 9 a.m. Monday. They will consider extending the limited access order to county buildings and continued telecommuting policy because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
