EYE ON JEFFERSON: County commissioners to hear COVID-19 update

The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 from the county health officer when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

Port Townsend city

The Port Townsend City Council will consider a single-use plastic straw ban when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Public Utility District

Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will hear updates on broadband and budget planning when they meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Commissioners will meet in executive session during a special meeting at 4 p.m. to evaluate the performance of public employees. Possible action will be taken.

Commissioners also will consider extending the time in which employees can use personal time, given impacts of the COVID-19 state of emergency.

Fire District 3

Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will consider standard operating procedure for the code of conduct when they meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
