The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear a quarterly income report from the state Department of Natural Resources when they meet Monday.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The update will be at 10 a.m. Commissioners will receive information about timber sales over the last quarter as well as Jefferson County’s share of those earnings.
Commissioners also will consider allocating $3,000 to the resurfacing of the public tennis and basketball court in Quilcene.
The rest of the $25,110 project will be funded by the Quilcene Sport Court Association.
Commissioners also will consider:
â– A resolution setting a hearing time of 10 a.m. Oct. 12 to continue third-quarter budget appropriations and extensions for various county departments.
â– A resolution determining property as surplus and authorizing its disposal.
Port Townsend schools
The Port Townsend School Board will install Constance Welch as a new member when it meets Wednesday.
The board will meet at 6 p.m. in the Gael Stuart Building, 1610 Blaine St.
Welch, a former teacher in the district, has been named to fill the unexpired term of Holley Carlson, who resigned in June.
The board also will consider approval of policies concerning non-discrimination and purchasing.
It will conduct an annual review and consider approval of the Highly Capable Program.
It will review the bid requirements policy.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory Board will meet Thursday.
The committee will meet from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the first-floor conference room at City Hall, 250 Madison St.
No City Council meeting is scheduled this week.
Council office hours, during which members of the public can discuss any topic with a member of the City Council, take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in the mayor’s office at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare hospital commissioners will consider a resolution to accept bids for replacing the MRI at a meeting Wednesday.
The meeting takes place at 3:30 p.m. in the conference room at 2500 Sims Way.
